The 5th Edition of the Trail of Legends Expedition is a 3-day off-road adventure in UTVs that showcases some of the most iconic terrain in Northern Baja California.
Our journey begins in Tecate, Baja California, descending through the legendary and challenging La Rumorosa—a route that combines adrenaline, breathtaking views, and technical driving. From there, we’ll cross at full speed through the vast Laguna Salada, finishing the first day in the coastal desert town of San Felipe.
On Day 2, the expedition focuses on exploring San Felipe’s most emblematic canyons, its fascinating history, and its powerful natural landscapes shaped by time and the force of the desert. We’ll wrap up the day by enjoying a relaxing evening along the Sea of Cortez.
Day 3 takes us back toward the mountains, riding through Laguna del Diablo and Ojos Negros, before closing our journey full circle back in Tecate this day is FAST and taking a short cut so we can arrive in time for broder crossing.
This expedition is designed for those who seek adventure, camaraderie, and the authentic Baja off-road experience. Our Baja Made team handles every detail — so your only job is to enjoy the ride.

Deposits are non-refundable. Once payment is made, it cannot be refunded BUT it can be transferred to another participant as down payment or liquidation.
However, the remaining balance (after deposit) may be applied as a deposit for a future Baja Made expedition.

The El Capitán Cortés Expedition is a multi-day off-road UTV adventure that travels from north to south through some of the most spectacular and challenging landscapes of the Baja California Peninsula.
Our journey begins in the fast and technical terrain of Sierra Pino Suárez, in the heart of Baja Norte, before diving into routes rich in history, desert landscapes, and rugged mountain trails. Along the way, we’ll cross canyons, hidden beaches, remote oases, and traditional villages, reliving the spirit of the early explorers who once navigated and crossed this legendary land.
Driving through rarely traveled coastal routes near Mulegé, this expedition leaves an unforgettable mark on every participant.
🗓️ Itinerary
DAY 1: Tecate - San Felipe
Starting point at Baja Made’s facility where you can leave your trailer 15 min from the boder. Our team will load your luggage and anything you need transported on the chase truck.
DAY 2: San Felipe - Bahia De Los Angeles.
DAY 3: Bahia De Los Angeles - San Ignacio
DAY 4: San Ignacio - Loreto trough Mulege area.
Night of Day 4: UTV pickup in Loreto to load onto the trailer and begin the transport back to the starting location.
DAY 5:
Optional group activity (not included — open to all participants).
DAY 6:
Baja Made team traveling north.
No scheduled activities for the group.
DAY 7:
Participants fly from Loreto → Tijuana
Booking flights in advance is recommended.
Baja Made will pick up participants at the Tijuana airport.
UTVs and personal items will be delivered back to each participant.

During this adventure, the Baja Made team ensures that your only concern is to have fun.
We handle the full daily logistics, perform maintenance on your UTV to keep it running at 100%, and assist with everything you need throughout the journey so your experience is filled with adrenaline and unforgettable moments — without worrying about “what if something happens?”
Over the 4 days of riding, you will have:

- All hazards marked and announced ahead of time
- Lodging and meals carefully organized
Each day feels like a “spa day” for off-road lovers: you drive, explore, enjoy the views… and the team handles the rest.
At the end of the expedition, Baja Made loads all UTVs onto the northbound transport.
The schedule is designed so you can enjoy two full days of rest in Loreto, and on the third day, your UTV and belongings arrive safely back at the starting location.
